Thank You Yes!! A Truly Great Experience!! Our caring tech, Adrian Montesinos, came by today for our first yearly tune up though we’ve lived here for about 8 years. He treated us with the same consideration as though we’ve been a valued customer for years. He had no trouble finding the address, and didn’t mind our messy home. We received a picture of the person coming, so we knew who to look for. The previous day I called the office, responding to a text to confirm my forgotten appointment after signing up at a Lowe’s stand for a $29 tune up a month ago, and they offered a promo for $19 informing me the gentleman who helped me sign up at the stand would still get credit for the service. Our tech was professional well above my expectations! Adrian was only here for about an hour while only going back out to the vehicle once to get me a new air filter. (no additional charge BTW) I only showed him to the furnace room. He finished up everything and knocked on the door after he put his tools away. He didn’t need me to do anything. Adrian had a descriptive checklist of all he did and the condition of each part he inspected. Just before he left he let me know I could pay through the portal link that was texted to me, and gave me our “Report Card” (which looked Great BTW) and simple tips we could easily do ourselves to keep the system good as new, like going to the dentist without cavities. Adrian had pictures of the few areas he recommended deeper cleaning about and used a Low Pressure simple yes or no question to offer to help. He said, “I could do that for you, would you like a price?” No “Okay, do you have any questions?” No Then he asked for No Money just a signature promising to pay the $19 balance, and with a smile, left saying,“If anything happens we’re here.” We definitely plan to use Yes! Again.
Their advertised furnace tune up seems to actually be a chance for them to get a sales lead. The tech that came didn’t know basic information about our system and didn’t do anything to maintain it, but still tried to assert his expertise as he told us confidently that we needed a whole new system and set up a same day appointment with a sales guy. They did bring the quote down to a reasonable (not amazing, but fairly competitive) rate after a lot of haggling and gimmicky sales techniques (driving urgency, etc.). But, when we decided to get a second opinion, the other company told us that we may have years of life left on our furnace & AC as it’s only 13 years old and a good estimate lifespan is 20 years and that the issues pointed out by Yes! were normal signs of wear and tear. The people I worked with were nice, but in the end, I wouldn’t recommend this company.
Prompt and courteous. They let me know where the driver was on the map. The service technician, Sebastian, was very good. No pressure, no finding problems to encourage more expense. I had a company that did that. It got old. He gave me the facts and status of of both the heating and air units. Pricing on service was very reasonable.
