I am a Realtor but this review is based on my personal home. I work with a variety of vendors and companies so giving 5 stars is big to me! A real person answered when I called first thing on a Monday morning. No automated system or outsourced call center. They got me on the schedule for that afternoon and the guys showed up on time. They worked quickly but efficiently and were friendly! They had to cut into the brick but did a great job at blending the area it right in.
Ronnie and Kole came to the house to troubleshoot an issue and another plumber had left us with. They figured out what the problem was and fixed it the right way highly recommend this company.
10/16/2024 I called Quick Fix Plumbing on October 16, 2024 to install a faucet that I have purchased from Amazon for my tenant’s property. They were scheduled for 10 AM so they got there on time as they arrived they started looking for the shut off valve. I have called the day earlier to see if they could help me locate it, because I was going to install it because it’s very easy. I only called them because it’s an older property and I couldn’t locate the shut off valve. When they got to the property, they immediately found the shut off valve from the street side. As I’m talking to the helper that was able to find the shut off valve within 5 minutes of arriving, I asked him what are we doing since the other had been on the phone since the arrival? He said that he wasn’t sure. I waited a few minutes looking at the plumber and I asked the question. I asked the plumber; are you on my clock? He just ignore me, look down and just keep walking with his phone. I didn’t wanna have to pay more than what I needed to and I wanted to check a few things. After 45 minutes on the phone, he finally tells me that my pipes are not what they usually use, the red and blue from Home Depot pipes. I wanted them to check the outdoor faucet that was missing a handle to open the valve since I purchased the property. They just needed to place a new spigot, as simple as that. Anyways when he goes to look at it place his entire weight against the pipe and it broke flushed with the wall and of course started pouring water straight from the wall. Then he said it was already broken which was not. I have pictures to prove it. He couldn’t take responsibility for his actions. He has no work ethic in my opinion. At this point, he started cursing and throwing a tantrum, throwing things and hitting his work truck. I called the office and asked to talk to George, which had helped me on the phone since the day before. I explained to him what had just happened and that I wasn’t happy that it was taking so long to install a kitchen faucet and also about this guy language and behavior. He said he was going to call me back to find out what was going on and he did. He said they were just trying to find out what was compatible with the faucet. Later on another guy comes with a part and start working on the outside faucet that this guy had broken and the other guy goes inside and install the kitchen faucet which it only took him about 20 minutes, so they charge me another hour to install a faucet, a very simple kitchen faucet and a outdoor spigot that they broke. I had to pay for a wall repair because they had to break the stucco outside to get to the pipe. I feel robbed and assaulted by this people. I have used them for 27 years for my home and other rental properties. When the plumber hands me the bill I asked him why are they changing me for 2 hours of work when he wasn’t really working for 2 hours? I remind it him that he broke the outside pipe and he started getting smarter with me. I called the office again and I asked to talk to someone about the bill. I told them it was too much. I spoke to Don and he was really rude. He said that I had called so many times that day. He asked, what is it that you really want as I was telling him what happened. He interrupted me as I was explaining. He said that they had talk to me more than they have talk to any other customer that day. The bill was for $453.25 for installing a faucet that I had purchased on Amazon and they charged me another hour plus parts for a spigot that costs $12.50 at Lowe’s. So I told them I will pay $400. I should have not paid but just an hour of work. They ripped me off. I feel assaulted and mistreated. Don if you’re reading this, you’re the rudest person I’ve ever spoken to. You should be fired. Between you and the plumber you have no business working with customers. You’re going to ruin this company and I hope the owner becomes aware. I won’t ever recommend you or want anything to do with this business. I learned that this work is not to code since it’s missing the vacuum breaker.😡
