This service was for a chimney liner. From the point of where service begins with that initial phone call, Terry was extremely responsive, professional, friendly, informative, and helpful...to the point of where the service was provided by Frasier and Keenan (I hope I got the spelling right) who were unbelievably friendly, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and informative. They were a few minutes early, introduced themselves, explained what needed to be done and after the quote was approved they began work, which was completed efficiently and clean. Always nice to have work done in a complete and efficient manner but to have all of those other qualities on top is such a pleasure! Thank you for doing such a wonderful job! I highly recommend this company.
I had a gas fireplace insert installed yesterday, replacing my rusty 25 year old one. I highly recommended this firm. The installers, Dave and Steve, were utmost professional : very tidy, performed very clean and neat work, explained how the fireplace worked with the remote, and left the home spotless. They also finished the job ahead of schedule. They were also not annoyed with my thousand questions about the new fireplace !!! The picture I leave is the new fireplace all fired up. Note: I still have to tile the area around the fireplace. They would have done that also, but I love to tile ! Steve B. 12/19/25
Purchased my home in 2022. Seller had to complete repairs on chimney. Seller hired wertz & co to complete the repairs for the sum of $6900.00. Not long after moving in we noticed staining around the fireplace ceiling. Shortly after that the chimney started leaking. Just got two estimates to repair the chimney both contractors got a kick out of how wertz & co repaired the chimney and repointed the stone . Not hard to see why it’s leaking. As a retired home improvement contractor I can say It’s by far the worst repair job I’ve ever seen. A new crown replacement should last many years .
