Matthew identified the problem (a possible motor or bad circuit board on a discontinued furnace) and offered a few reasonable repair or install solutions to choose from. A few days later Nate showed up on time and performed the furnace install, walked me through the work he had done, and had given me a quick walkthrough of how the new thermostat works. The new furnace is running great!
