We needed a 220 for our new hot tub, whole home surge protector plus a few other electrical items done in our home and Blake came in and did an outstanding job. I am often hesitant hiring new people but I quickly found Blake to be very professional, honest and personable. He explained clearly what he would need to do and when he was done he showed us what he had done. He also made sure to clean up afterwards. I will definitely be using Urban Electric for all of our future electrical needs!
This is the 2nd time we have used Urban Electric and they did a great job. Blake is very professional and trustworthy. We had 6 can lights and 2 outside electrical plugs put in our rental house. It only took half a day to get them installed, which I feel is very quick and efficient. Blake came out about a week beforehand and assessed the situation and discussed our needs. He showed up when he said he would, which is important in my book. I highly recommend Blake and his crew for any of your electrical needs.
Highly recommend Urban Electric! We bought a new microwave and slide in range to replace the originals from when our house was built in 1998. The old drop in style range was hard wired and needed to be upgraded to a 4 prong plug in. Blake came out and provided a free quote. He also identified a few other issues -- the dryer wiring was only a two wire, breaker buses weren't grounded (copper wires were a mess when he pulled them out of the panel), and the company that installed our whole home surge protector spliced into the water heater instead of having it on its own breaker. We scheduled all the electrical work to be done on the same day when our new microwave and range were getting installed. Blake and his nephew, Trevor arrived on time and completed all the work scheduled (including the other issues identified). Very professional, punctual, clean install, and they vacuumed all areas. We couldn't be happier! Urban Electric really exceeded our expections and we'll definitely be calling them for any future electrical needs.
