Very good experience with Taylor Fence company on a large project that involved RFID activated vehicle gates, manual emergency gates and lots of interaction with the municipality. They did a great job!

We discussed our gate repair with them on the phone beforehand, but they failed to mention that they don’t even service gates from our gate manufacturer. They then proceeded to charge an outrageous service call fee of $250. They should have been upfront about their inability to fix my gate before I paid them to come out. A responsible company would ask the customer for relevant details—especially something as critical as, “We don’t service those gates”—before charging a service fee. So, $250 to tell me my gate sensor was broken after I already told them my gate sensor was broken. Don’t waste your time and money with them—find someone else.

I have used Taylor Fence twice. Had I written a review based on the first experience, I would have given a 5 star review. Based on the 2nd experience, I am going to suggest everyone do the following 1) Avoid Taylor Fence 2) get an itemized bid for everything. The basis of this review is that Taylor Fence reused a 30 foot swing gate from the 1st installation, and removed a 20’ slide gate from the second installation. At the end - they stated it was a wash on the invoice. I attempted to get an explanation on this and 8 weeks later, all I have received was zero credit and a threaten of a lien on the property. Again, either avoid or get an itemized bid on the install.
