After a lot of research, I replaced our heating and cooling system a few years ago with swan. I believe they offered the best value for the project. While we weren’t initially offered a membership with that purchase, I later called and requested the membership. The twice annual heating, cooling, and plumbing maintenance has turned out to be great. In addition, with a membership, you can call anytime, even on weekends, and get a diagnostic appointment without additional charge. In particular, we’ve had a great experience with Spencer, who did our fall plumbing check and also happened to come out when we had a clogged secondary kitchen sink drain this afternoon. He called me back right away on a Saturday, came out here quickly, explained things clearly, and was friendly and knowledgeable.
Jason Dubose, the SWAN technician came out today to help, when I woke up this morning with no heat. He was amazing. He came out and arrived on time, flushed the drains and cleaned the system. He explained why it happened and the proper solution so this won't happen again in the future (basically The initial installers placed too many unnecessary right angled PVC connectors, that it invites water buildup and growth blockage, resulting in the furnace shutting off). For what it's worth, this is a brand new unit that was installed January 2025. It's currently October 2025. I don't know about other technicians, but Jason was great. He even recommended the proper fix so this won't happen again in the future. I plan to get the PVC pipe drains re-routed properly based off of his recommendation. But am a little disappointed that the initial Swan installers overlooked this installation issue.
Very friendly and professional crew that came quickly to repair my old furnace in a pinch. Given my furnace was old, they encouraged me to transition to a new energy efficient heat-pump. They are filing the (generous) rebates with Excel for me which will ensure I get the full amount back directly to me. I now also have a smart thermostat and my dual system is so quiet. Caiden and Nate in particular have been so helpful and patient explaining all the ins and outs of my new system. Very happy with my experience!
