If You are Considering Solar, you will be Sorry if you do Not Contact SEC I am so glad that while I was looking for information about buying solar equipment for my home that I stumbled upon SEC. William Wood, President of SEC, kindly talked me through the whole process. What a gentleman! He actually encouraged me to get competitive quotes from other providers (like the companies that work through Costco), because he knew that his prices, financing and services would out-perform an apples-to-apples comparison. And was he ever right about that! Rather than buying the lowest cost solution, we talked about solutions that would support my family’s needs over the long-haul. SEC was not trying to up-sell me. I wanted to end up with the right solar panel array that would last me for years. In the end we worked together on selecting the right solar panels and the optimum inverters for our installation. SEC’s installers were the most respectful, courteous and efficient workers that I have had on my property to date. They were respectful of my property and family, and they worked in a way that resulted in minimal impact to our daily activities (like our working from home). I was so pleased with the whole process, that I later reached back out to SEC to talk about a battery system that would complete my solar system. I ended up with a great battery solution that outperforms the big names like Tesla. My solar system has worked flawlessly, and I continue to get more money back from the utility company than I have to pay them. Plus, my costs are fixed; I know that when I retire, I will not have to spend a single dime more on my electricity than I am spending now. Also, my solar system has offset many tons of CO2 since I have stopped drawing power from the grid, and I feel good about that. I enjoyed working with SEC so much, that I still keep in touch with Willam, and I think of him as a friend.

William and the team just did a great job. We had a very complex project and the team was able to understand our needs, communicate through a lengthy process and ultimately provide us with an excellent solution. The service was fantastic!

Choosing to install Solar Power is fantastic. Trying to upgrade or repair an existing system is a a nightmare. Companies that worked on our 23 year old system are now out of business, and components we purchased are no longer manufacturered. It's crazy out there, and many companies don't want to touch a system they didn't install. I decided to Google "consultant", and was pretty frantic when I finally got William on the phone. After the call, I told my husband it was like talking to a therapist! William had empathy, and was understanding. He found a company willing to help us, and bring us into 2023! And when there were hiccups with the new installation, he was a great liaison. My husband is now happily tracking our improved solar output with his smartphone.
