I’ve used Pro Temp before, they installed my new Lennox furnace in 2021. I was very happy with them until now. During a routine winter furnace check (done by another company), it was discovered that the heat exchanger was cracked/failing. I called Lennox and confirmed my extended warranty was still valid: parts are covered, but not labor. That was fine. I then called Pro Temp to ask about labor costs for the repair, and was told they would not repair the unit at all because I hadn’t used THEM for annual maintenance. They called it a “breach of contract” and said it was a “liability” for them to touch it. I was honestly shocked. They wouldn’t even come out to look at the unit, even for a paid service call. That felt extremely shady and disappointing for a company I had trusted. It’s also worth noting that Jamie, who was always great to work with, is no longer there (apparently as of two weeks ago). Based on my experience today, it seems like he was the backbone of all the good reviews.
