Our initial encounter with Ernie was fine, our water heater died 2 years ago and he responded quickly and did what we thought was quality work for a reasonable price. Fast forward to yesterday, our 2 year old water heater is leaking so I called Ernie about It as it has a 6 year warranty. Ernie advised it would cost $1000 to come and replace a WH that he installed and is under warranty! Ernie said this was a standard rate. I called 3 other plumbing/heating establishments and they all said that was a significantly high rate to charge to replace a warranty covered WH. Then after seeing pictures of my WH and how it was installed, I was advised it was not up to code. Now we are having a new one installed with all the correct components per code for the same price Ernie was going to charge us just to replace the existing which again he was not going to bring up to code! My husband then spoke with Ernie and it was not a pleasant call as when my husband mentioned he did not install per code, Ernie’s response was “it’s a stupid code” My husband responded that if we are told when we have it replaced that the leak is due to how it was installed we would be sending him the bill and he hung up on my husband. It is very clear the Ernie charge’s exponentially higher than he should and does not do quality work as he does not follow codes. We would not recommend him to any of our friends or family!
Your driver in your box truck needs to learn how to drive! No wonder why your truck looks all beat up. Red means stop not start to turn out in front of one vehicle and then turn out in front of a dump truck that has the right of way. Just for that I will never use your services and I will never recommend anybody to use your services get some people to have some common sense
Although the plumber showed up an hour early and did a credible job of removing our garbage disposal. He charged us way over market rate for his work. We actually had sticker shock when he quoted us the price for about 1.5 hours worth of work. Comparing it to the highest estimate price for removing a garbage disposal in NH he charged about $100 dollar more than he should have. Very disappointing.
