DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR… They will try to take advantage of you. I am a landlord in the Jacksonville area, and I have a property management company that handles my property. They hired this company to replace a 30-amp breaker, and I was charged an outrageous $248.70 for the work. Interestingly, this amount was just a few dollars below the threshold that would require my approval for the repair. This raised some concerns, so I decided to review the invoice. The invoice listed a charge of $187.50 for one hour of labor. I called the company to ask about their hourly labor rate, and they told me it was $100 per hour. I left it at that and had my property management company look into the issue. When they called, the company changed the rate to $125 per hour and claimed it took 1.5 hours to complete the job. This is highly questionable for two reasons: 1. If the rate were $125 per hour, the labor charge would have been $200, not $187.50. 2.The invoice clearly states one hour of labor. This experience has left me with serious doubts about their practices. I would not recommend this company—they seem to be trying to take advantage of people.
