Service Requested - Install a mini-split system for our separate 'casita' unit. Value - Extremely fair, reasonable, flexible and based on my research, it was in line with what this should cost. Why NRS? I researched and got several estimates. NRS was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. What they are is honest, transparent and responsive. And from start to finish, they went above & beyond to make sure any questions were properly answered and addressed, there was no up-sell, and they were efficient, professional and took their time to make sure things were done right, including the clean up, where most companies fail. Personnel / Install Technician - I was fortunate to have gotten Charlie and Darwin! Both were fantastic to say the least and both were, as noted, extremely professional on all levels. Charlie explained everything and provided great advice not only for this new unit but also for our main unit. Darwin was efficient, went above protocol on assisting Charlie as well as doing a phenomenal job of cleaning up. I expect the new mini split will perform well, especially with the Summer and heat right arounf the corner. So glad we went with NRS and got Charlie and Darwin. I am certain that if we needed any other services in the future, I will just contact NRS and hopefully get Charlie & Darwin again! Thank you very much!

I have had a five-year history with NRS. In that time, I’ve tried other HVAC and plumbing companies, and I always end up coming back to NRS. Their prices have increased, but that’s happening everywhere. I recently had them replace 25 feet of sewer line that was damaged in three places. Luis, Rocky, and their crew did an excellent job. Luis was honest and correct in his initial assessment of the problem. The repair could have been an expensive nightmare, but he went above and beyond to limit that scope of the digging they had to do while still completing the repair to the highest standards. Let me also mention Charlie, who is an outstanding HVAC technician among many talented HVAC technicians at NRS, and Nikki who has always been helpful and patient when I called the office about anything. Finally, if Adam calls you about a membership plan, give it some serious consideration. They still have a few minor details to work out, but the plan is worth it. NRS should be one of the companies you call when getting estimates. However, in an emergency, I’ll call them first every time.

I first called the good guys at NRS in November. Vlad came by and assessed our old condensers, furnace, and electric circuit breaker. His assessment was thorough -- very professional. When he was done, he gave me four proposals -- each with detailed explanations. I decided on the American Standard system as suggested. By the end of January, the American Standard system has been installed. I now have two new condensers, new furnace system, and two new smart thermostats. Ever and colleagues installed the new system from 8 AM to 6 PM. Hardworking guys. I didn’t even see them take a lunch break. Lawrence (quality control) came by and inspected the work done and made sure everything was done right. David Espanol (handyman) also came by and reframed/repainted the attic entrance. He was very good in matching the existing wall paint. Highly recommended if you are shopping for a new AC system.
