They installed my fence in an hour. The quality is better than what you normally see in the average neighborhood fence. They were easy to work with, but very busy, so be patient. Cheryl and Corky are excellent, Mike and the installation team are super effecient and professional. They did such a great job the first time, I had them come back and install more fence this year.
Buyer beware! They were the low bid & we now we know why. Terrible communication & customer service, sub par work. Our neighbor was having her entire back fence replaced, so we went in on our shared fence and had them quote us on the fence to our house & a gate. There was no communication from them about when they would start on the fence, they didn't show up when scheduled and they showed up unexpectedly on other days. They managed to destroy our sprinkler system, which their contract states they're not responsible for. They even cemented our sprinkler line into a fence post. Both the neighbor's quote and ours called for a 3-railed cedar fence. No mention was made that the rails would not be cedar or treated wood. When they installed the rails, there were only two and they were douglas fir. They also didn't take out either rear corner post. When I talked to the installation crew, they didn't have copies of either contract. When we contacted the office, the owner refused to come out and see the work, acted like we should have known that the current industry standard was douglas fir rails, and said the two rails instead of three and the remaining corner posts were "a mistake". It doesn't seem like a mistake, it seems like they were taking advantage of our neighbor. We were also told by the guy that did the bid that we could put the boards on either side of the fence or alternating (good neighbor style). They didn't ask how we wanted the shared fence & nailed all the rails with the boards on our side. When we asked that it be done "good neighbor style" the owner said that would cost $5 more a foot because of the "set up costs of putting an extension cord and nail gun on both sides of the fence". When I insisted that he come out and see the sub-par work that his employees were doing, he refused. I ended up telling him I would finish my part myself, which I did. When the fence was complete, almost all of the boards were overshot. They did end up replacing the two back corner posts, but they cut the north post off to match the old post (that they had already nailed rails to) and so now that portion of the fence has crooked rails and slants downward. They also nailed the fence directly to a tree. When the wind blows, you can hear the nails creak. We gave the owner another opportunity to come out and see the work his employees had done before we left this review, but he again refused. He says we denigrated his employees, but since he's never seen their work, how would he know? UPDATE: I've added a picture of the contract. It clearly states 3 rail fence and no mention of doug fir rails. If he would lie about this, what else might he lie about?? Enough said.
We are incredibly grateful for our beautiful wood fence, and custom car gate. The Masters' team went above and beyond making sure the car gate would open properly on the sloped side of our house! The receptionist Julie helped us with pricing questions (we share a property line) and was exceptionally friendly every time we called.
