From start to finish, getting solar with Lunex took 4 months (including a new roof), but it was totally worth it. The company set everything up and made everything simple every step of the way. This is a long-term dream fulfilled and I’m so happy to be running my home on solar energy now!

Sales experience was solid. Ramses was professional, met me at 9pm on a Friday, gave a standard sales pitch, and tried to close on the spot—as expected. We finalized the next morning, he came out for the survey and paperwork, and everything seemed smooth. I was promised installation between Halloween and Thanksgiving. That’s where things went downhill. Lunex handled the permits, but once permits were approved, they scheduled installation a month later in December, well past the promised window. Installation day was a mess. The crew clearly didn’t want to be there, rushed the job, and even blocked my Ring camera with a shirt (which they forgot to remove). I don’t know what they were trying to hide, but it was unprofessional and concerning. They complained all day about the electrician not being there, rushed out, left no paperwork, and provided zero guidance on next steps. The inspection process was worse. Lunex scheduled the city inspector every day for an entire week, yet failed repeatedly. The inspector told me they failed on multiple basic issues—loose screws, missing covers, stickers not removed. He also said Lunex requested re-inspections without being onsite, seemingly hoping things would just pass. Eventually, after a week, a Lunex power rep came out and fixed most of the issues. Still, no paperwork left behind—no permits, no photos, nothing. It took two full months to pass inspection and reach PTO. Even after receiving PTO from TECO a week ago, my system is still not operational. I was told to contact someone internally and have received no real solution or response. The only reasons I chose Lunex were competitive pricing and the assumption that a large company would stand behind warranties. The only real positives were the salesperson and the fact that Lunex covered one solar payment due to their own delays. Everything else—communication, workmanship, professionalism, and transparency—was unacceptable. Blocking security cameras and the overall carelessness alone should be a red flag. If I could do this again, I would choose another company. I’m doubtful they’ll honor their warranties. Maybe the Powerwall will be operational this month? Honestly, I doubt it.

There were no hidden fees, no nonsense, and no surprises, everything was explained clearly and upfront from day one. The sales rep stayed in contact with me throughout the entire process and kept me informed at every single step. Anytime there was progress, I knew about it. They truly didn’t miss a beat, which made me feel confident and comfortable the entire time. As for the installation Crew, Crew 4, if I remember correctly. They were hands down some of the most professional gentlemen I’ve ever worked with. They followed the permit exactly as requested, from the panel layout to meeting city code enforcement requirements. Everything went smoothly and was executed perfectly. From start to finish, the whole process took about a month and a half, and it honestly couldn’t have gone better. I would absolutely recommend Lunex Power to anyone looking for a solar company or even an electrical company. Top notch experience all around.
