This is the second time I call JC Mechanical. The first time was a few years ago for an issue with the thermostat at a different location. This time it was much more serious. Jimmie was able to do a house call within a few hours of my initial phone call. He diagnosed the problem and gave me several options. Unfortunately our furnace was over 20 years old so instead of trying to extend the life, we opted to replace it. He gave us several options and offered a cash discount and did not pressure us what so ever. Scheduling the install was a bit tricky because they had several jobs and emergencies; our original install date was postponed by 24 hours. Wish there would have been slightly better communication but we also understand how busy they were and are grateful they fit us in their schedule. Most other companies I reached out to said they were scheduling weeks out, so replacing our furnace within 48 hours of our initial call is an extremely fast turnaround compared to other companies. Jim and his apprentice were kind, respectful, and worked very clean. They made sure to walk us through all the changes they made to bring the furnace up to code and gave us further maintenance recommendations about semi annual check ins and monthly filter changes. Excellent company to work with.

JC Mechanical did an excellent job supplying and installing a new boiler in a 5 unit apartment building for us. They provided a quote that I compared to a few different companies, which was thorough and fair. They then completed the items per the quote in a timely manner and their work looks clean and functions well. For a few minor warranty issues they have been responsive and helpful. I am very happy with JC Mechanical and would recommend them to anyone with new boiler needs. Thanks Jimmy!

While I was very appreciative of them coming out and diagnosing the issue they completely ghosted me the day after. I texted and called a number of times and received no reply what so ever. Mind you my furnace was down and it was 35 degrees out. I had do have the AI phone attendant try to reach out but even then he said he would call me but never did. I have all the receipts of this. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to text or call the day after especially when that was the plan.
