John made a consultation visit to my house today: he was friendly, professional, and did a great job addressing the bathroom ceiling fan installation I’m looking to get done. We had the great fortune to work with Yoshi for a full rewire of our 1910 home. He did an absolutely AMAZING job, and it was obvious how much he cares about the quality of his work. He went way above and beyond. He's a total pro and we loved working with him. Even more impressive, he did the job largely solo. I saw him thread wires through spots that looked impossible for a whole team to do. And he did it with no tear-down and the absolute minimum number of new access holes in our lath and plaster walls. Every time we came up against something new and unexpected (and if you rewire an old house, this will happen often), Yoshi took the time to talk through the options and tradeoffs with zero sales pressure. It was a huge relief for us since we are so used to working with contractors who push aggressively for up-sells. It made us feel confident that we were picking the right solution every time. On a personal level, it was fun to nerd out about the quirks of old houses with Yoshi. I can tell how much he cares about the history and keeping as much of the original home intact as possible. We can't recommend Yoshi and Harrison enough. Six stars!
