I recently had Handy Heroes do exterior repairs on my house. The work was done well and fairly priced. The owner, Bob, is not only very competent and professional, he's also a great guy. Separate from the contracted work, he noticed that one corner of my deck, which is 7 feet above the ground, was slipping out of a notch on its support post due to ground shift over time. A disaster waiting to happen. He was able to knock the post back into place and secure the deck with lag bolts. He did this as a favor even though I offered to pay. Who's better than Bob?

My wife and I had the pleasure of meeting Robert Pyle unexpectedly today under unusual circumstances. In a nervous wreck to drop our son off at daycare with my wife for the first time, I accidentally left my wallet in the parking lot. To my surprise, Robert not only found it but went out of his way to drive it back to our house and waited for us to retrieve it. Robert’s kindness and patience left a lasting impression on us. It’s rare to meet someone so genuine, understanding, and generous—especially given his own busy life as a father of three. He wouldn’t even accept any form of compensation, despite my insistence.
