Hammer Heating and Air is exceptional! Their service is top-notch from start to finish. I live in Los Altos Hills, and recently, my second-floor air conditioning was not producing cold air. After a previous company serviced my units, I thought the issue was resolved. However, it persisted, so I checked Nextdoor for recommendations. Finding a provider my neighbors used I set up an appointment. While the technician identified a faulty low-pressure sensor, he strongly urged me to replace my air conditioner instead of attempting a repair. He also said he could not work with my compressor brand and quoted $9,500 for duct replacement. When he could not locate the necessary part, I turned to Hammer Heating and Air out of Martinez, CA after hearing great reviews from a friend. Mike, the owner, quickly found the part, rewired my unit, and even rescued a rat he found trapped inside my air conditioner. He replaced all the chewed wires with ease. Thanks to Mike, my air conditioning now works perfectly, and I saved between $15,000 and $20,000 that I thought I would need to spend. Mike is a true professional, friendly, and thorough.
