Gill's Electric

This is my second review for Gill's Electric - I appreciate the quick call back and excellent communication. I don't know much about electrical work and the electrician was helpful and explained the whole panel upgrade and about how long the job would take. They also did some GFCI outlet installation. THANK YOU!

I had received a referral from a neighbor for Gill's and they did not disappoint. I started with a small project to install a new outlet, but was impressed, so decided to use them for a full re-wire job to remove old knob & tube wiring and install a new sub-panel. I got multiple quotes, and Gill's was reasonably priced and able to move quickly. My project manager was Will, and Denis was the lead Electrician. Denis and his team were always on time, extremely professional, and communicated well when asking questions and getting direction from me and my wife to make sure they were installing the circuits and new lighting to our liking. I would 100% recommend them to anyone doing a big or small job.

The electrician that did the work was friendly and knowledgeable. The salesperson and the owner, Brad Gill, were terrible to deal with over a disputed charge. They blamed us for PG&E delays (which was not true) and tried to have pay a change order with little detail and Brad would not discuss the dispute over the phone and only in email. The salesperson seemed to be trying to upcharge the project with changes orders. They were delayed on the project and the electrical permit almost expired and they ended up giving us a different panel than we agree to in the contract. It was a bad experience, I don't recommend them.
