Garden City had a a plumber scheduled within minutes of my call and he was at my elderly parents house in 2 hours. The promptness saved my 95 yr old folks from waiting through the weekend without water and paying after-hours higher rates. The job was done fast and correctly. Good Job wayne and garden city. Your response time , price and quality beat the several other companies that I called.

Friendly people, way overpriced plumbing service. This was work in a rental. A bathroom sink clogged with hair needed to be snaked. I ok'd $225 for the work, which seemed high to me, but I was in a bind. The work took 15 minutes. Then, the plumber told me the $95 dispatch fee would be added to that amount. I was stunned. For most companies, the dispatch fee becomes part of the service cost if you go ahead and choose to have the work done. $320 for 15 minutes onsite? The property was only about 15 minutes away from Garden City's headquarters! Oh, well, the plumber applied a coupon that dropped the bill by $25. So $295 for a 15-minute job snaking a sink. I've regularly used Garden City, but I won't use them again. UPDATE: Given Garden City's reply and their invitation to talk, I sent an email to the company saying I'd be glad to receive their phone call, noting that they have my number on file. Probably I put it in the email, too. I can't recall because that was more than 10 days ago. No one has called. I think that lack of contact speaks to the sincerity of the reply posted to this review.

Excellent. Receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable and polite. Scheduled a water leak for the next day. Repseptionist called early next day and was able to get Matt to my home earlier. He showed up, diagnosed the problem and solved it quickly. Explained everything to me as he worked. Apologies to Matt, he is young and I thought more experience, age, would be needed to sleuth out the problem. Nope, I was very wrong! Garden City is lucky to have this guy on their team and so was I. Thank you.
