We experienced a surge around 7:00 PM that caused power to be lost in half the house. I called Frankie at FMJ and left a message. He returned my call within five minutes and after listening to the situation, he recommended that we wait until morning for a service call to get his normal rate compared to the emergency rate. He also let us know that we could start by contacting the power company to make sure it wasn't their issue. This transparency in pricing was greatly appreciated.
