Michael did a terrific job cleaning/clearing our gutters and checking downspouts on our camelback/shotgun. He was knowledgeable, prompt (and communicated) from start to finish which sadly is rare with professional companies today. Super friendly guy too. Very affordable pricing. We will be using them from now on for our gutter needs. Don’t look any further than Flo-Right.
It has been a very long time since I had my gutters cleaned. I left a message after hours inquiring about pricing for gutter cleaning. I received a call back the next business day and I was able to get an appointment for an estimate in a quick timeframe. Michael came out and gave me such a fantastic quote that I agreed to the price and he cleaned my gutters and downspouts right then and there. He did an amazing job. I will be using him every year.
My apologies if this is long-winded, but it's worth it! So in 2020 I purchased my home. The previous owner was having a new roof put on prior to my buying it, and it was completed only days before we closed. In short, the contractor did a wonderful job on the roof, but failed in almost everything else the previous owner paid and hired them to do - it's an older house, so she was remodeling before putting it on the market. I called them only because it had JUST been five years, and they were the ones that put them on. I thought perhaps it was under warranty, or included with the warranty on the roof since both were completed at the same time. On the front corner of my house, it looked like birds had maybe pulled the shield somehow, and it looked like the shingles were lifting. The contractor scheduled an appointment to come out and look, and I told him I would make arrangements to work from home that day, but he was a no-show. Instead, he ALLEGEDLY came a few days later on a non-scheduled day while I was at work. Even then, they didn't call or text to let me know. I had to ask a few times, and finally I received a text saying that the contractor had been there, my gutters were, in fact, in need of repair, and in spite of only being on my house five years, they said the roof's warranty had expired. I was given an estimate of $1200 - Just ONE gutter shield on the front of my very small home (less than 1000 sq. feet). $1200!!! I asked for a copy of the warranty, but they couldn't provide it, saying that the warranty was only five years, and since my roof was over five years old (by less than 65 days!) they didn't keep it. At any rate I had a feeling I was being snowed - no proof that the contractor even came to my house, never told me what was wrong, showed up on a day he knew I wouldn't be here, and conveniently said my roof's warranty was only five years (they knew when I bought my house - in fact, the contractor and the previous owner are friends). Since it all sounded sketchy, and just to have another set of eyes on it, I called Flo-Rite. I was connected with Michael, who met with me at my home as scheduled, and within minutes after climbing up, determined that NOT A THING was wrong with my gutters, with the exception that the gutter shield used by the previous contractors was flimsy. However, he said the gutter shield was doing its job. No debris in the gutters, nothing in disrepair, even my gutters were clear, and since that was the case - no repairs necessary. That's a far cry from the contractor's $1200 estimate for a gutter he claimed to have seen and said was broken somehow (again, I have no proof that he even came out to look at my gutter since he claimed to have been here while I was at work, he didn't send pics., or even tell me what exactly was in disrepair.) Integrity, pride in your work, and honesty go a long way, and Flo-Rite knocked it out of the park. I'm so glad I called, and so thankful for businesses like Flo-Rite, and folks like Michael (thank you, Michael!) If only all businesses were as forthcoming!!
