I cannot recommend Bill at Dover Mechanical Contractors highly enough. After a week of sub-zero temperatures caused nearly every water line in my home to burst, I was left without help for several days. Bill was the only one who answered the call, arriving at 10 PM to begin emergency repairs with the supplies he had on his truck. ​Over the next two days, Bill put in 17 grueling hours at my house, essentially repiping the entire system. He consistently went above and beyond, even when uncovering significant issues caused by the previous owners' poor plumbing work. He stayed as late as 2 AM by himself because he was determined to keep his promise that my wife and I would finally have a hot shower by the end of the night. Beyond the pipework, Bill took the time to ensure this wouldn't happen again. He installed new insulation in our crawlspace and boarded up/insulated external gaps where freezing winds were blowing through. By addressing the root cause, he gave us peace of mind for future winters. ​What truly sets Bill apart is his attention to detail; he returned a few days later to handle the cosmetic finishes and ensured every hole in our walls was patched, a step many plumbers overlook. Bill is a man who takes immense pride in his trade and genuinely cares about the people he helps. I will never call another plumber; if you want someone reliable and hardworking, Bill is your guy.

Billy was one of the most knowledgeable, skilled and nicest plumbing and heating professionals I’ve ever met. He identified what was wrong within a few minutes, repaired and fixed it, and stayed to answer every question I had. He then literally called me the next day to make sure everything was okay. Truly one is the kindest and coolest repair contractors I’ve ever cold called.
