I hired DI Repairs to fix a gutter that wasn’t properly draining away water. While they fixed the drainage issue with better sealant (no new parts) at a cost of $548, the technician damaged the elbow. When brought to their attention, they stated it was already like that. We showed them a picture of the part we’d taken before their arrival. Their reply was an image of the dented elbow part, stating that’s how it was. Take a look for yourself- first two are images of gutter elbow before they came (one is a close up of other), while the third image is what they sent us stating it was like that. Only thing I can think of is, how would we have an image of a non-damaged part? That picture with the non damaged elbow, but improperly draining water, is what compelled the HOA to hire DI Repairs. 9/1/2023 EDIT: Update. Since the original review 6 months ago, it rained here. We were able to confirm that DI Repairs never accomplished what we hired them for- having payed hundreds of $$$’s. Filing complaint with both California State Insurance Commissioner and BBB
We have used DI Repairs several times for handyman type issues at our home in Del Mar. In each case DI was responsive and the service was reasonably priced.
