Cox Roofing

I thought they would be a good quality company but I was wrong. Since getting my roof installed, I have discovered different issues. To spare people a long lengthy review I can summarize in photos. However, before I get into that. There are things that will be harder to show in photos. I never would have agreed to put black drip edges when I had white and they installed them and left a 2” overhang on shingles, removed my exhaust vent that leads from my stove, have a couple of leaks from broken boards or lack of caulking, multiple decking boards are broken in my attic, I now see a light by the rafter tails which is where more boards are broken (you can see the wind blowing in areas) and the best one of all they stated in contract they was licensed, bonded in my city and they are not nor did they get the required permit. The photos can speak for themselves on the quality of workmanship. Owens Corning can agree with me as they have sent me instructions on how the shingles were supposed to be installed. As of today, there really hasn't been a solution for this problem. Yes, one of the managers is trying his best to help but so far it has been nothing but empty statements. This is not me being a picky customer. This is simply a poor installation and I just wish there was accountability for it. I will update my review if and when things get resolved.

We had an amazing experience with Cox when dealing with a tree falling on our roof and an insurance claim. Through the entire process, everyone we dealt with was helpful, professional and honest. Like everyone, they are human, and when there was a small miscommunication issue due to a new employee, they went above and beyond to make up for it and continue to earn our confidence. Hannah was amazing to work with, and my only complaint was that we didn't get to work with her more. ;) Jose and all of the crew were helpful and easy to work with, and I'd definitely use Cox again. Cox Roofing has been wonderful to work with. Our insurance continued denying that we had hail damage and wouldn’t replace our roof. I worked with Pat specifically for almost 6 months to have insurance finally accept the damage and get the roof replaced. He helped me through the many hurdles we have encountered. I’m so grateful for his professionalism and dedication. Our roof looks great!
