Clements Electric

I was in a tight spot needing someone to come out same day. They were able to get someone out to me within a few hours. The electrician was quick, thoroughly explained everything that he needed to do, and their prices were very reasonable. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

We had an issue with out electric where we had blinking lights in the house and a droning type of noise in the back end of the house. Clements came out to take a look and found out we needed to replace our electric breaker panel which obviously was original with the house built in 1971. Mike came out to take a look and let us know what all was needing to be done and scheduled the call after going through the financing process. The financing process was a pre-qualification which I didn't know at the time so I ended up calling Wisetack about the application and came to find out we were only approved for either a 3 or 6 month approval which we couldn't afford to pay at that timeframe. This has no bearing at all whatsoever on Clement Electric's end. They were nothing but courteous, nice and extremely professional in the work they did. We ended up finding out our meter mount box on the house along with the pole mast going through the roof from the utility pole was not up to current codes so we had to replace both the pole mast and the box the electric meter was attached to. Also found out the wire from the utility pole to the house was too short. We had our pole go down in 2024 and they had to replace it and the wire was too tight with not enough slack in it. Oncor replaced the wire prior to the electricians coming out to do the panel replacement and rolled it up to the pole awaiting reconnect to the house once the work was done. The work was actually done sooner than expected which was a relief to us but the city sent the inspector out to inspect it when the work wasn't even completed. They sent them out too early. The second inspector came out after the work was completed and submitted the approval to Oncor to reconnect the line to the house and restore service. We were told by midnight it would be reconnected but they didn't show up until the next morning which wasn't all that much fun with the heat. Overall I ended up putting the invoice on my credit card after calling Clements and got it all sorted out to where I can pay over a period of a few more months to help us out. Overall... Clements Electric was an awesome company to work with and will definitely be using them for any issues that come up requiring electrical work. They have been such a blessing and I highly recommend them.

They put in a new electrical panel for me. Looks like the work they did was up to par. I was a little disappointed though when I got substantial extra charges on my electrical bill that weren't mentioned in the estimate. Still would have probably went with them knowing it. Just would have liked to know up front. They also could have labeled the panel.
