Chicago Water & Fire Restoration

I had a leak in my closet a few weeks ago due to a crazy rainstorm and I was very impressed with CWFR from start to finish! They were quick to respond and set up a consultation. Derek was so great to work with, he explained everything thoroughly and walked us through each step so there were no surprises. He was really wonderful - thank you Derek! The teams that came in to do the work were great as well- punctual, very thorough and professional. I am very happy with the work they did and I will definitely call them next time I have an issue!

This has been, unfortunately, the 2nd plumbing emergency in a 5yr time span that faulty plumbing has flooded and ruined my beautiful finished basement. This 2nd time around, I had no hesitation to immediately call up CWF Restoration after the plumber left. Oscar was out to my house on a Sunday night by 11pm when the emergency happened to start the inspection for his crew the following day. He got everything he needed in about 15min, made sure to ease my mind that they would be in communication with my Homeowners Insurance for estimates, repairs, etc and I wouldn't have to worry about any of it. He was able to work around my hectic schedule the following day and his crew came the following day. Since I had a lot going on in the morning amd afternoon, he asked the crew to come at 3pm. They stayed until 11:30pm and were able to rip up all the carpet and cut out all the drywall, clean up every bit of debris, carefully moved and wrapped/protected my belongings, set up all the fans and dehumidifiers, then scheduled an addition fan to come again the following morning PLUS an electrician to temporarily install a separate breaker for my house to handle all of their equipment. It was alarming fast and efficient. I was getting an appropriate amount of communication in person and even got a follow-up call the next day to see how everything went. I'm not even 48hrs out from when the damage started and they are already ensuring it's on track to move quick and get my living space back. All of this around the holidays too! I love these guys, I can highly recommend them! And that is speaking from experience because I received the same amazing service from them 5yrs ago when a different pipe burst in my ceiling and they did mitigation and recon then as well.

Shondell & Jeremiah were outstanding. Extremely hard working, professional men that showed up immediately to remove carpet, cut out drywall and clean/sanitize after we had a pipe burst and water flooded our basement. They worked so hard and worked efficiently. Shondell was very determined to make sure any water and moisture was removed immediately being that we have young children and our basement is their play area. I am truly blessed and grateful for this company coming out within an hour of our phone call. This means a lot when you’re in a panic and it’s below zero in Chicago, with water in your basement. I highly recommend CFW! Truly impressed and will recommend them to anyone and everyone. Thank you all for caring about my family and helping us out. 🙏🏻
