We have hired Chris in the past to help clear some trees along the creek behind our house. Great guys that work hard show up and do great work at a reasonable price. We hired Chris again to fix our deck that we paid another company to build but they never showed up when they said they would and never finished it, there was always a different excuse and there was only one person that ever actually came and what was done had to be taken down and rebuilt. Thanks to Chris we our on the way to having the deck we planned to have built since October 2019.

BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT HIRE!! CBJ was contracted to install our deck. CBJ started working on our deck around mid-July 2020. The proposed finish date was in August, with the deck staining to take place before fall of 2020, and it is still not finished. Not only did we not get the total design that we requested and contracted them for, but we also have faulty work. We have been plenty patient with CBJ to this date, but with this project well over a year past due, they have ceased all communication. We are now left with moldy wood, multiple gates that are uneven and do not shut properly, rod iron that is not fully connected and peeling, different color stains in several areas of the deck, and a yard that is not fully seeded. They were also supposed to level out the river rock around the pool as well as add weed barrier to it. There are also some wood boards that are loose. They have promised to rectify our issues and finish the stain but have failed to do so as of today. We have previously reached out and have been told several times that we are "on the list", however, no dates were given as to when they would be out to fix any of the issues. In the last 3 months we have reached out several times and now we cannot get any kind of response. Their lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. We spent A LOT of money with them and even referred them to other clients. They are paid in full but our project is now where near finished. We have filed an official complaint with the BBB and hopefully will have resolution soon as this 16 month disaster! I just don't want anyone else to go through what we went through!! DO NOT HIRE!!

These guys will get the job done the right way the first time and at an affordable cost. On top of that they also have a great eye for what they do and are always friendly and professional.
