Called Carrier to have a whole home standby generator put in. Steve came onsite quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote including trenching. It was much more reasonably priced than a very expensive quote I got from a larger contracting company. Steve's team made extremely quick work of the job, including trenching to the house. I was super impressed with the quality and speed of the job. They basically knocked it out in 1-2 days, aside from the gas line. They needed to bring in a subcontractor for the connection between the generator and propane tank, and that unfortunately delayed the project about 2½ weeks. I understand that that is largely out of Carrier's control, though. My only constructive feedback is I would have appreciated proactive communications from Carrier after each visit from the subcontractor to let me know what the status was. Several days would go by after each visit from the sub and I had to send a followup to ask the status. It's a small thing but it's much appreciated when the contractor is on top of that, especially with New England weather and not knowing if a storm will roll in and knock out power for our house, so I was antsy to get the generator up and running. Steve was very quick to respond to my followups though, which was great. Both Steve and the sub came out and finished up the job in the middle of our first major snowstorm, and there was some faulty regulators they had to deal with, but they persevered through the storm. So big kudos for that final effort! Very happy with the result, and I really appreciate them squeezing me in before the winter, as I made the inquiry in late October. BTW the pics show a wooden shelter for the generator. That was not done by Carrier.

Carrier Electric - and in particular Steve Lareau - is the best electrical contractor I’ve ever worked with. His team has completed complicated new build, renovation, and remodel electrical issues for us at two properties and they always find the most efficient and effective way to achieve success. Their work is always neatly ticked-and-tied and they treat your home as if it was theirs. I rarely take the time to write reviews- this might be my third google review in my life- which is a sign for how strongly I recommend the services of Steve and Carrier electric. There’s simply no one better!

Just absolutely wonderful team to work with. Just phenomenal work ethics and you don’t have to tell them three times what to do if they get it done the first time. Very, very rapid response times and excellent at communicating and letting us know when they will be here and showing up exactly as they stated! Price was phenomenal! I cannot overemphasize how much we appreciate your assistance with all the electrical Punchlist that I made for you guys! A+++++
