Capitol Auto Service

This is the first auto shop that made me feel so comfortable with my repair. Daniel was so patient and helpful with detailed explanations of all of the services they offered. They are honest and reliable. The work was on time, fast and completed before the estimated time. Unlike other establishments they are considerate of their customer's time. Charges were very reasonable and much appreciated. I would highly recommend Capitol Auto.

Made an appointment to get my 08 Honda CRV checked out. It a had a motor oil leak and a rack and pinion leak. I asked to have the brakes inspected although there was no obvious problem braking. The customer service agent informed me of the issues the tech found. He even escorted me under the lifted car and pointed out the problem areas. He provided me with a printout of the work I consented to have done with an estimate which included parts and labor. He assured me the car would be repaired by the end of their work day at 5:30 pm. He called me at 5. All repairs were completed and the car was ready for me to pick up. The cost was exactly what he estimated. I am 100% satisfied with this entire transaction. In addition the cost was way less than I anticipated. I am a repeat customer and this is the reason why. I highly recommend Capitol Auto.

I’m so happy I gave this new service center a shot because now I can’t imagine taking my car anywhere else. Quick backstory: my engine was misfiring back in June, so I took it to my normal service center, and they only fixed half of the cylinders, telling me that it was unnecessary to do all 6 since 1-3 weren’t misfiring. Well, fast forward to this Monday 12/22, cylinder 2 was misfiring, and I was NOT going to return to my old service center where I’d have to repay a diagnostic fee (even though I had the code) and I’d pay nearly $2k to fix it. I called around to service centers around me, and Capitol Auto Service was very courteous over the phone, they took some basic info and were able to quote me a price right then and there, and they even said they could take my car THAT morning, with hopes of finishing the same day or early the following morning. I was flabbergasted because my normal service center told me it’d take them 7-8 days to get it done. No thanks. I dropped my car off at 9:30am, the check in process was smooth and all the guys were super nice. Then, to my ultimate surprise, they finished same day at 4pm, and I was back on the road in no time. I’m so grateful for them, and I already scheduled my next safety check with them because I will not be returning to the service center I used to go to. And let’s discuss price - I paid way less than HALF of what I was charged at the previous place, so I’m forever grateful for that. My car is 10 years old, so I appreciate the care and attention Capitol Auto provided for me. I’ll be back for sure!
