Calvet Fence

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great experience with Calvet Fence A few weeks ago, I had hired Calvet Fence to install a new fence in my backyard, and I’m really happy with it. I waited a bit to leave a review just to see how it held up and honestly, it’s solid. The quality is great, it looks really good, and it feels like it’s built to last Louis was the one who did the work, and he was awesome. Super professional, showed up on time, and clearly knew what he was doing. He also made sure the job site was completely cleaned up when he was done, which I really appreciated. 👍 Overall, the whole process was smooth. I’d definitely recommend Calvet Fence - and if you can, ask for Louis. He did a great job.

Update: Cal Vet called me and apologized. They scheduled to fixed the issue. They came out and made the door smaller. It works perfectly now. They said to call anytime there was an issue and they stand by their work. Initially, I had no issues with Calvert Fencing. Communication was great, they were on time, and installed expeditiously. I noticed days later after the install, that one of the posts was not straight. It didn’t bother me until I had to adjust the swing door because it would get stuck. I couldn’t adjust it anymore because the door was too big and made contact with the post. Calvet came out and just replaced the screws to a smaller screw to allow room to make adjustment to the door. It’s maxed out and I can’t make any more adjustments. See photographs. I reviewed my surveillance cameras and one of the workers said they have to rebuild the door. Obviously they didn’t. I wasn’t home when the repair was complete. I called again and ask them to fix it. A person came out again and said he wasn’t there to do a major repair. He called his supervisor and said they weren’t going to do anything. I texted the sale rep I worked with. He said he would get back with me but has not. I’m sure most of the time they do good work. This was not one of those time.

Unfortunately, the gate that this company installed has completely broken within 4 months of install. They previously sent someone out 3 times to "fix it" (after multiple calls) when it still somewhat worked but needed to physically be lifted up in order to latch. The second time the rep admitted it was not installed correctly and that the concrete needed to be repoured, but they kept just trying to screw it in more. Now that hinge has completely detached from the frame. Sad to see a company that doesn't stand by their work. UPDATE - yes, after a week of my husband calling/texting and me leaving this review, they did come out to "fix" the gate. Does it open/close/lock now? Yes. Is it completely crooked? Also yes. Do I trust that it will stay functional? No. Shame because the gate they install on other side of the house looks nice and new. Will revise review from 1 star to 3 stars.
