If you are looking at these reviews, you're probably stuck like I was trying to figure out what reviews to trust?? We most probably had a leaking A/C compressor. That's no way to go into a summer in the Valley when your wife is in menopause and your kids are back from school! I took a blind shot with three companies. The first couldn't come out until next week. The second was a contractor who tried to sell me a new system. Our Lennox system is 9 years old...not ready for the scrap yard just yet! I called California A/C (because of their good reviews.) Anastasia called right back and had Slava booked to come out first thing in the next morning. For what it's worth, he was early and got right to it...no upsell or nonesense. He just gave us straight up unvarnished costs and recommendations on how he might mitigate some of the cost. I didn't feel hustled and he got us back up and running, fixed the flow to a couple of back rooms AND cleaned up after himself! So, for what it's worth, California A/C'a now my calendar and contacts to schedule again before winter and I'm so appreciative that I called them!

Manny did an incredible job servicing our HVAC. The drainage system had failed, creating a lot of damage. Manny fixed up the drainage system and showed me pictures every step of the way of what was there (and why it wasn’t working) and the repaired system once the job was complete. Great company, great team, fair prices. Highly recommended!

California A/C Heating Refrigeration saved me! I had a different company come out for a routine service call (A/C was working fine just trying to keep up on services) and they told me my board was dead, my smart thermostat was the reason, my whole unit doesn’t work, and could cause a fire. If a new board doesn’t work I’d need a new unit. Everything they were saying felt wrong since it was working fine the day before and they didn’t check heating or any other aspect of the unit. They completely shut down the unit and said it would have to stay off until they fixed the board or replaced the unit. I called California A/C and explained what happened to Anastasia. She said it all sounded odd to her and was very helpful. She got Slava (the technician) to come out the same day even though it was close to the end of the day. They gave me updates when he was on his way and when he showed up he was very professional and informative. Slava let me know my unit was working fine and did multiple checks and double checks just to confirm everything was all good and to make me feel comfortable. I’m so happy California A/C and I’d recommend them to anyone in the valley in need of some A/C services.
