James came out to give me an estimate. He said he could do this and that no problem. I've sent ideas on how to resolve the issue with images and detailed text messages. He hasn't offered any solutions. I can't get a call back or any traction with this project. The customer communication is terrible. The older lady who answers the phone has no clue and simply relays messages to workers. I hate leaving bad reviews but it does make you question companies with so many positive reviews. Please don't waste your time and find a reputable plumber. Time is valuable today and spending hours trying to coordinate with people who don't want to work is not worth it.
It's easy to rate a service when everything goes well. It's when there are bumps in the road that a truly good company come thru. Byway in my experience is that company. We have utilized services from Byway Plumbing for several years. They are always kind, polite, friendly, trustworthy and knowledgeable. This is the only plumbing service/ business we ever use. I called about water leaking onto my floor from my hot water heater, the owner of Byway Plumbing, James, came out the same day within a couple hours of my call to Molly in the office, who is extremely helpful, pleasant, kind and listens to their customers. Anyway, James checked out the situation thoroughly and advised us that we needed a new hot water tank. Within a couple of days, James had ordered our new tank and Charles came out , removed the old one, installed the new one, filled it, made sure it was operating properly, thoroughly cleaned up the area where he was working and hauled off the old water heater and all trash items, packaging, etc... Charles even called about an hour later, from his home, after work to see that we have hot water and that everything was going smoothly. They all treat their customers like family !!
