If you contact Buck Roofing for an inspection or quote, ask for Dave Pollak. We worked with Dave as our estimator, and he was excellent. He is prompt, communicative, and very straightforward and honest. He did a thorough inspection, clearly explained what needed to be done, and his follow up was fantastic. You can tell he takes pride in doing things the right way. We originally chose Buck Roofing based on a recommendation from my in-laws, who had worked with them for many years. When it came time to replace our roof, we still gathered about 6 quotes from established roofing companies in Kansas City just to be thorough. Buck Roofing was not the cheapest quote we received, but we chose them because of the recommendation and their reputation. It turned out to be a great decision. You see a lot of stories these days about fly by night roofers, companies that disappear when warranty issues come up, or work that starts failing a few years later. That was absolutely not our experience. Their crew was professional from start to finish. They arrived exactly when they said they would and ran a very organized job site. One thing that really stood out was how clean they kept everything. When the job was finished, there were no stray materials or debris left behind in the yard. Our job was also not a simple shingle replacement. They had to completely remove the old roof, including the plywood decking, and start fresh. The previous roof had multiple layers and would not have passed an insurance inspection if another layer had been added. Our insurance company confirmed this and the Buck team walked us through the same issue before the work even started. The roof was installed many years ago now, and after several major storms we have had Buck Roofing come back out just to take a look. There has never been any damage and the roof has held up beautifully. Dave just stopped by again recently after I called, and after a thorough inspection, he gave our roof a continued clean bill of health. Their work was top quality, and if we ever need repairs in the future, Buck Roofing will be the only company we call.

Gabe with Buck Roofing was great! He responded to emails and text messages in a timely manner. He was very accommodating and understanding and helpful with everything! Helped us work with insurance also since we had hail damage. He fought for us because he knew it was hail damage and made it clear when he thought things should not be covered. He was very knowledgeable. He also coordinated with the hvac company because we needed our exhaust pipe redone from the water heater. His team did a great job on the install and double checked to make sure everything was cleaned up when they were done.
