Today for the first time I used Blue Dot Services of Forest Hill. I recently purchased a condo with a system that I was unfamiliar with. I was very happy to find out that the warranty that was still on this system was transferred over from the previous owner. I was given a four hour window arrival time which worked well for me. The technician kept me up to date on his arrival time. When he did arrive I was impressed with his professionalism as well as his cleanliness. He even put covers on his shoes to protect my floors and carpets. He introduced himself and I led him to my furnace room. He checked my system over and as he did, he let me know what he was doing. It was nice that he explained things to me as he went along. In the past I have dealt with companies that didn't explain anything, so this was a very pleasant surprise. The technician I had from Blue Dot was Michael C. and he put me very much at ease. His professionalism, knowledge, attention to detail and friendly personality was greatly appreciated. I feel very confident about having a seasonal maintenance program with Blue Dot. I definitely recommend this company. Please thank Michael C. for me. You're company is very lucky to have such a pleasant and knowledgeable technician.
From sale to installation everyone was knowledgeable, informative and friendly during our purchase of a new furnace. We were able to get financing and great monthly payment plan. The installation was done in a few hours and a new digital thermostat was installed as well. We are happy and grateful we had no problems from start to finish.
On October 6th I had a heat pump installed. The installation went well but I was told I needed a circuit breaker replaced for unit to pass inspection. Also there were many large holes opened up in my ceilings and walls. I was told that I would be contacted when these would be done. I waited and never heard from Blu Dot. I had to call and send emails myself. Finally, on October 31st the electrician came and replaced the circuit breaker and took photos of the holes in my walls. He told me if I didn't hear from Blu Dot the next Monday or Tuesday to call. I never heard from Blu Dot and had to call again. On November 11th the holes in my walls were repaired. Customer service failed as far as communication with me. This was unacceptable. I don't recommend Blu Dot because of the poor customer service I received.
