They also went into the crawl space to check if any work was needed there and gave me some helpful recommendations. I really appreciated that they weren’t pushy at all. He just kindly pointed out a few things to be aware of for future services. I was so impressed that I told my mom and brother (who live in the same neighborhood), my mom has scheduled with Best Solutions Services too and my brother is also considering. As soon as the technician arrived (about an hour late), he immediately began pointing out what he claimed was “mold” in my vents. Despite feeling uncomfortable with the pressure tactics, I ended up paying $400 for the additional cleaning. The entire job was completed in about 40 minutes, which felt rushed. No before and after photos were provided, and there was no documentation to support the mold claim or the work performed. After researching other duct cleaning services, I realized that many reputable companies provide detailed inspections, clear documentation, and transparent pricing without high-pressure sales tactics. Comparing that to my experience, I feel misled and overcharged. I would strongly advise others to be cautious, request written evidence of any mold claims, and avoid making decisions under pressure.
