Excellent Work on My 2016 LR4 – Fixed What the Dealer Couldn't. After a nightmare 7-month ordeal at Land Rover Honolulu (botched repairs leading to new oil and coolant leaks, disconnected sensors, etc.—see my other review), I took my 2016 LR4 to Benz & Jagz Specialists in Honolulu, and they completely turned things around.Service Advisor Flora Zar was outstanding—professional, communicative, and thorough from the start. They had the vehicle for about 3 weeks and performed extensive diagnostics and repairs that addressed everything the dealership introduced or failed to fix properly.Key work included:Full diagnosis uncovering issues like ABS/restraint module faults (U0074, U3000), O2 sensor code, and valve cover leaks. Replacing valve cover gaskets, resealing upper timing cover, new intake/supercharger gaskets, injector seals, and spark plug tube seals—eliminating the burning oil smell. Replacing Bank 1 Sensor 3 O2 sensor and clearing codes. Installing and programming a new Restraint Control Module (RCM) to resolve traction/ABS faults. Major coolant system overhaul: new water pump, connecting pipe, updated hoses, front and rear crossover pipes (including the rear one the dealer "replaced" but still leaked), and more—no leaks after testing. They used quality parts (brand-new RCM with 1-year warranty), took time to explain everything, and road-tested multiple times. The invoice was detailed and transparent—no surprises.These guys are true specialists in European/Land Rover repairs. Knowledgeable, efficient, honest pricing for the complexity involved, and they treated my vehicle with care. Highly recommend Benz & Jagz Specialists for anyone with a Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover, or similar—especially if you've had bad dealer experiences. Took my sons 2014 E350 for service and they worked us into their schedule quickly, front desk kept me updated on progress and pickup time, mechanic met me with the car and keys at the main door when finished, wonderful customer service. No complaints and strongly recommend to anyone who has a European car.
The service was great. After the initial visit, there were a couple of outstanding issues and they took care of them right away…no delay and no questions. Frances is excellent…she is knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful!! The quality of the workmanship is excellent. They’ll definitely be servicing my Jag from here on out.
