This is the worst company ever. They make appointments, then blow up your phone saying repair person is going to be late or do not call at all. My Generac unit has been offline since at least the first week of December 2025, maybe longer. I am a disabled veteran and need electricity to stay alive due to my medical equipment . I purchased the unit and repairs at over $16000 plus finance fees and they cannot I t get off their butts and fix this. What do I have to do to get this resolved? The company, Air South LLC, after install took three months to replace the lid which was damaged. They never came back to do the initial maintenance/service for 3 years and 2 months. Service tech came here the first week of Dec, did what she could but could not get unit online. Repair man came out the following month Jan 8 and could not get it going. If I could give zero stars or negative stars I would do that. The repair guy came out last week on Tuesday. He told me they need to replace the whole generator. Owner in his reply to review told me to call and ask for James to expedite replacement. When I did the employees would not put me in contact with him nor his voice mail. This is very poor customer service. They call me today, one week later, and ask if it's okay to come on the 18th of the month. I have already waited three months and one week after owner responded to my review. Tomorrow is the 18th, we will see if they show up or if they push me back another week. We'll they did it. This time they pushed me back 2 weeks to March 9th. That is 4 months After they discovered and documented it to be offline. Owner in reply tells me to contact James, he is either there never there or not taking my calls.
We had a great experience with AirSouth replacing our HVAC system today. This was not a simple swap — it involved major ductwork along with gas and electrical updates — but Carter B. and James H. handled everything smoothly and professionally. They were respectful of our home, worked efficiently, and answered all of our questions along the way. We were especially impressed that they completed the entire job in just one day. They made sure everything was sealed properly and helped us set up the thermostat before leaving. As of today, we’re very pleased with the quality of the work and appreciate their professionalism.
The technician that came out was very understanding of my circumstances going over different types of units that would work for me specific to my needs and expectations, while considering my scope of affordability and down payment. Bottom line, the tech was punctual, professionally pleasant, customer focused and much appreciated! I must add their customer service team from home office was awesome with updates, appointment scheduling, current specials and other offers in all areas of services they offer as well. This isn’t your average heating and cooling business, they are exceptional!!
