Corey and David were so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The work is difficult but took time to make sure I understood my new system. Thanks fellas! Hello. Although my previous review is glowing about how quickly ACS handled the install, etc., I cannot say the same about after the work. First, the workers left black streaks in my carpet in my hallway where the new unit was installed. They should have covered the work area. I cannot get the marks removed which will cost me more. I even sent in pics of the carpet but got no response. Next, I learned only after The City came to inspect the work, how my cabinets which houses my hot water tank and AC/Heat unit were full of insulation. How dangerous was that! And with my physical condition it was extremely difficult to clean that all out. Lastly, communicate between ACS and The City's inspections department is very poor. I first must say, I 💯 understand neither ACS or The City can give an exact hout for when an inspection will be completed. But, there should be a way the day is known. I gave ACS the desired day and only because that day had bad weather, I contacted The City. That's when I was told the inspections have wait periods that are determined by which type of inspection. So you see, I would have wasted a day from work waiting at home when the inspectors came the next day instead. This was not because of bad weather. There needs to be a better stream of communication and understanding in the process between ACS and The City so the customer has some idea. I am sure I left a bad taste in my supervisor's mouth, being so out of sorts and leaving work without proper notice. Good customer service comes before, during and after the service, and is more than being nice. These are very kind and friendly folks, TRUE. They simple need to out themselves in the customer 's shoes to see if their processes make sense, and are complete.
Matt and his apprentice, Michael, were very professional but easy to talk to. They replaced the 50+ yr old panel in garage, installed 5 new smoke alarms, main disconnect, and a surge protector with the main. They also installed a disconnect and surge protector for the AC unit. Total time was about 4 hours one day and 7 hours the next. I welcome them to come back should I need further electrical work done in the future.
