READ ENTIRE REVIEW Posting this a THIRD time because they took down the Hamden location AGAIN so the negative reviews would go away. I told them that if they did that again, I would leave my review at whatever A1 location they decide to leave on Google. So here I am…. I don’t recommend this company as they use predatory tactics and fear to get to you to buy services you don’t really need. They jack the price up much higher than their competitors as well. The quotes they give are not based on reality at all. My quote included “2 days” of work yet the technicians were only here for 3 hours, total. They showed up late in the day, didn’t say anything other than “chimney” to me, and then left without saying a word three hours later. Took me two weeks to finally have them send someone out to examine the work. They made it nearly impossible to pay by check, which I wanted to do to avoid their credit card processing fee. Which btw, was more than the credit card company was even charging them for the transaction. That means they profited off of me using a card, while telling me not to send the check, not drop off the check at the Hamden office, and to instead wait for someone to come pick it up from me at my Home. This was after one of their customer service reps told me to send an image of my Check to some random email address. This took weeks. I had honestly moved on from this horrific experience until their Office Manager, Maddy, reached out to me, regarding my original negative review, under the guise of wanting to make this “right”. she said management offered me a refund which I accepted. The next day she tells me that management decided to basically rescind the refund offer and only Offer to send a technician out to reevaluate the system to make sure everything was done correctly and a measly 10% discount on needed repairs or services. Not only had I thought that’s what originally the technician had done when they came Out, after I demanded someone inspect the work, their follow up to make this “right” was Essentially just a poor attempt of extorting more money from me. I do not trust this company at all and refuse to allow them anywhere near my Home, so I refused their “goodwill” offer. God only Knows what the heck they did to my chimney.

Not sure about any of these 5 star reviews… I needed a chimney cap replaced, should be a simple job. Someone came out and did the estimate and a week later techs came to do the install and the estimator told them to install a square cap when I needed a round one. I was told I needed a round one anyway and When I called them, he said he’s giving me a deal on a “custom cap” which was a load of BS. It’s been almost a month and I’m still waiting to have the job done. Seems they took my deposit and ran. I will try to recover through legal means if it comes to that. Bottom line, AVOID THIS BUSINESS!!!
